Company description
The main tasks and activities of the Chamber are Professional help and advice to the Members of the Chamber in technical, legal and organisational areas; protection and representation of the business of the associated companies; co-operation with state bodies, institutions, self-governing bodies and trade companies; active participation in creating legal regulations concerning oil sector; promotion of positive opinions on fuel sector; fight with unfair competition.

The Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels is an economic self-government organization. It was established in 1991 by entrepreneurs from the Polish private fuel sector. Currently, it brings together over 300 companies operating in various segments of the fuel market, mainly in retail and wholesale trade. The Chamber's members also include service providers, equipment suppliers, designers, and experts cooperating with the fuel industry.
The Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels is the publisher of the monthly magazine Paliwa Płynne, the owner of the portal www.paliwa.pl, and the organizer of the International Trade Fair Stacja Paliw, training sessions, conferences, as well as periodic industry meetings in various regions of the country.
The institution cooperates with organizations from other countries with a similar profile of activities. It is a member of UPEI (Union of European Petroleum Independents) – the Association of European Independent Fuel Operators, and ECFD (European Conference of Fuel Distributors) – the European Conference of Fuel Distributors.
The Chamber has the following industry sections:
• Section of Tanker Manufacturers,
• Section of Alternative Fuels,
• Section of Fuel Stations,
• Section of Fuels from Recycled Materials,
• Section of Light Heating Oil, Biofuels, and Renewable Energy Sources.
There is also the Employers' Union of the Liquid Fuels and Energy Industry.
